Where are they now?
Here a Dason Court we appreciate how important it is for a horse to have a life after a racing career. Thoroughbreds are a very versatile breed and have proved that at the top level in a number of disciplines including: eventing, show jumping, dressage, showing, as well as proving to be excellent hunters, companions and hacks. We have dedicated this page to following some of those horses in their new vocations after they have left Dason Court.
After winning 2 races on the flat and a hurdle race, at only 5 years old, Ashdown Lad has found a new lease of life on the polo field. He is proving to be very successful and giving his new owners a lot of fun.
A favourite in the yard here a Dason Court, Mister Matt won a total of 6 races and over £50,000.00 in prize money. He has been re-homed with Adele who rode him as a youngster while he was in training with Bob Buckler. He has had a successful summer competing around the country and has qualified for HOYS.
